Have
you ever been excited and just
charge in and done something you would normally be uncomfortable
doing?
Looking back, you think to yourself, "WOW! I really did that".
There are lots in things in life that we fear doing, but once we jump
in and
actually do it, we find that is was not a big a problem as we
thought.
Napoleon Hill summed it up when he said, "Fears are nothing more than a
state of mind." It is true and we each have proven this over and
over
again when we do something we are uncomfortable with and come out
smiling at
how well we performed.
Jumping out of airplanes (sky diving), talking to a group (public
speaking) and
so many things become easier just because we step up and do them.
After
we finish the task, we are often exhilarated and wonder why we ever
held back
in the past.
Fear or courage are both a state of mind that we can gain control over.
