When you sit home and worry about your
situation and
problems, nothing changes. Dale Carnegie had the idea when he
said,
"If you want to conquer fear, don't sit home and think about it. Go out
and get busy". Simple take some action.
If you get busy looking for answers, there is a good chance you are
going to
find them. Thinking is fine, but too often that is all we
do.
Thinking turns to worry and frustration. Nothing is solved until
we take
our thoughts and turn them into action.
When you need solutions, thinking can only go so far. It takes
doing to
get the job done. The problem is that too often the thinking
process is
not really problem solving thinking; it is simply worrying about the
situation.
You need to be proactive and conquer fear through action. If you are
serious, you
can overcome anything that stands in your way. Fear of snakes or
flying
can be overcome. Fear of facing your boss to ask for a raise can
be
overpowered with action.
The purpose here is not to give you answers, but to make you think of
the
answers for yourself. How can you take a simple saying, apply it
to your
life and make in improvement.
