This is quite similar to a quote I printed out a while back, "If you do what you've done, you'll get what you got".  I am not sure who to attribute that to.

Then Albert Einstein said virtually the same thing in this quote, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

You cannot keep doing what you have done in the past and expect to have different results.  If you are overweight and still overeat, you will continue to be overweight.  If you are failing in school because you do not study and you still do not study, guess what, you will fail again.

Traveling that same old worn path is going to get you the same old worn results. 

If you are seeking new things, strike out on new paths. Go ways you have not gone before and see what results you will get from life.
