There is an old Chinese proverb which says, "May who wait for roast duck to fly into mouth have a very long wait".  It says that if you want something you have to go after it.  Jack London said the same thing slightly differently, “You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club."

How many things in life have you been waiting for?  A new job? Moving to a new city or state?  That "roast duck" is just not going to fly your way.  You really need to grab a club and go after it, so to speak. 

Life moves by quickly.  Time passes by and one day you wake up and you are 40 or 65 and wonder where the years went.  What happened to all of those plans you made when you were younger? 

Could it be that you could have a life changing event happen if only you stopped waiting for the right moment and just went after it?
