the purpose of this site. Everywhere you go online you see
quotes.
They are in forums, on coupon sites and all over. Quotes are
heard around
the water cooler at work and in dark corners of romantic
restaurants. You
can't get away from the famous and not so famous quotes.
This
website is
being created to bring you
the quotes I find that may bring a smile to your face or even an "ah
ha" moment of realization.
One
of my
all-time favorite quotes is by
Napoleon Hill, "Whatever the
mind of man can conceive and
believe, it can achieve". Of
course that means within reason. You
cannot imagine jumping off of a tall building unprotected and land on
concrete
below without hurting yourself. However, base jumpers jump off of tall
buildings regularly (with a parachute) without hurting themselves.
The
secret is
to believe in yourself
enough that you know you can achieve something to think about.
You need
to think of more things. You need to believe you are capable of
achieving the
things you think of. The more you envision and think about, the
more
likely you will find success in that area.
You
could
apply
this to a loving
relationship. If you believe you can have one, you can have
it.
This does not mean it will just fall out of the sky and there it
is. It
means that because you believe you will position yourself to be in a
position
to find love. You may dress better, walk taller, smile more or
any one of
a 1000 things the books recommend for falling in love.
Are
you
out of
work and need to get a job?
Many have been out of work the full 99 weeks the government allotted. Many have lost their homes and more due to
layoffs. "Whatever the mind of man
can conceive and believe, it can achieve". How does this work when
there
are no jobs to be found and you believe you need work?
What
if
you
looked into other sources of
money? When you worked, day care was a
major expense. How about creating your
own day care center? Start with 2 extra
kids and go from there.
Can
you
write? Many people online are looking for
quality
writers who can research a topic and write a report about it.
If
you are
out of
work or need extra money for any reason, think outside the box, outside
of your
normal comfort zone. You may have a
million dollar company floating around in your mind and do not even
know it.
So,
think
about
your life and what you believe in or could believe in.
If you believe in it strongly enough and if
you implement ideas in achieving your dreams, you really could achieve
them.
